In the morning of October 8th 2009, the Matriculation ceremony of Intake 4, High quality bachelor program, Major in International Business Administration was solemnly executed at Conference room D202, Foreign Trade University. Participants who attended the ceremony included Prof., Dr. Hoang Van Chau – President of the University, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, Mr Kohiyama – Director of Vietnam-Japan Human Resource Cooperation Centre as well as delegates from other faculties and functional departments of the University, partner institutions, partner enterprises of the Faculty of Business Administration.
The Matriculation ceremony began with some musical performances to welcome the freshmen of High quality Intake 48 of International Business Administration.
Prof., Dr. Hoang Van Chau congratulated the students on their pass in the tough admission exam and the language test to be selected as members of the High quality class. The President emphasized that the Faculty of Business Administration was the leading faculty at Foreign Trade University in the implementation of the High quality bachelor programs. Over the past years, students from High quality classes at Foreign Trade University have been highly valued for their professionalism, dynamics, and adeptness at both professional knowledge and language. The President stated that the teaching quality needed to be improved through the increasing practicality, maintaining the close relationships with enterprises, and inviting corporate guest speakers to lecture at the University. Especially, it is necessary to enhance the practical experiences and skills of undergraduates through activities such as excursion and internship at domestic and international corporations. In addition, the President reminded the undergraduates to sharpen their professional English, especially professional terminologies.
Mr. Kohiyama – Director of Vietnam-Japan Human Resource Cooperation Centre – made a congratulatory speech at the Matriculation ceremony. He shared the requirements and norms that the Japanese corporations demanded from the human resource of a new generation. During the previous years, Japanese corporation valued their own human resource only. However, today, they have highly appreciated Vietnamese human resources, of which graduates from Foreign Trade University have played an important role. He also mentioned the career opportunities to work in Japan for giant corporate groups such as Canon, Toyota, and Honda.
On behalf of the Faculty, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy – Dean of Faculty of Business Administration – expressed the gratefulness for the care and help from the University’s Management Board, for the coordination and cooperation of VJCC and other partners of the Faculty during the past years. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy congratulated the students for the admission to the fourth Intake of High quality class of Faculty of Business Administration and announced the starting of this class.
On the occasion of the Matriculation ceremony, partner organizations of Faculty of Business Administration, including ACCA, Alpha books, CFM, etc. presented valuable scholarships to outstanding students of the Faculty.
The representative of newly enrolled students of High quality Intake K48 demonstrated their feelings on the pass into the High quality bachelor program of the Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University and respectfully presented flowers to the special guests and the Management Board of Faculty of Business Administration.

This year, Faculty of Business Administration has admitted 70 students to the High quality class Intake 4, major in International Business Administration. They are those students gaining high scores on the university admission examination and having high level of proficiency in English, being selected from approximately 200 registration dossiers.
