July 24th must have been a memorable day for K63 Wannabe students of the High quality program in Hospitality when they participated in the workshop: “Crafting Signature Drinks for Summer” – the third event in the series. The welcoming event for K63 Wannabe – Ch quality program in Hospitality was organized by the Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University.

On behalf of the Faculty of Business Administration of Foreign Trade University, the Workshop had the participation of Associate Professor, PhD. In addition, the Workshop also had the participation of Speaker Nguyen Ha Viet Duc – student of K59 High quality program in Hospitality, currently a Bartender at Grand Mercure Hanoi Hotel.

The biggest impression on many K63 wannabes is probably the skillful instructions performed by professional bartenders from 4-5 star hotels. Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan’s skillful, fast and precise mixing operations (shaking, opening the shaker, filtering, stirring, burning), along with many impressive juggling techniques, have attracted everyone’s attention. After that, students can prepare their own cool drinks “The Farmer”, “Berry Passion” and “Fruit Symphony” to cool you down in the summer. This is probably the most interesting experience for K63 Wannabe of the High quality program in Hospitality. The dedicated guidance of bartenders who love their job has made even Prof. Le Thai Phong – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, not hesitate to participate in practicing attractive mixing techniques.

Following the Workshop, the students listened to enthusiastic sharing from Mr. Toan and Mr. Duc about the opportunities, difficulties and their experiences working as bartenders. Not only do they have stories about finding and keeping their passion alive, they also enthusiastically share a lot of useful knowledge about time management, the values that the profession brings, as well as multi-dimensional perspectives, about their work to help future students better understand the hotel industry in general and the bartender profession in particular.

The Workshop is not only a unique and fun experience for K63 wannabes of the High quality program in Hospitality, but also a practical learning session with knowledge vividly expressed by people who love the profession, and are passionate about the profession.
