On November 25, students from the K61 High-Quality Hospitality Management Program at Foreign Trade University (FTU) had the opportunity to participate in an in-depth workshop on Mocktail and Cocktail Mixology at Tenderness. This was the first time such a specialized session was organized, providing students with not only valuable practical knowledge but also hands-on experience in mixology under the guidance of professional bartenders.

EXPLORING THE ART OF MIXOLOGY
The workshop provided a comprehensive overview of mixology and the beverage industry, offering insights into:
- Types of alcoholic beverages: including spirits such as vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, and liqueurs, as well as wine fermentation processes
- Essential bartending tools: shaker, jigger, strainer, and various specialized glassware such as highball, rock, martini, and champagne flute
- Fundamental mixing techniques: shaking, stirring, and rolling, combined with customer consultation and service skills
Beyond theoretical knowledge, students engaged in hands-on cocktail and mocktail preparation, crafting signature drinks such as:
- Cocktails: Whiskey Sour, London Maid, Old Fashioned
- Mocktails: Cinderella
ENRICHING PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE FOR HOSPITALITY STUDENTS
This workshop seamlessly combined theory and practice, providing students with:
- Professional bartending skills
- A deeper understanding of F&B service standards
- Enhanced creativity and hands-on application in the hospitality industry
This engaging and immersive session served as a solid foundation for students aspiring to excel in the Food & Beverage sector within the global hospitality industry.
