The programme opened with welcoming remarks and appreciation to the speakers from the Faculty of Business Administration’s leadership.

In the first session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thoan highlighted the orientation for applying artificial intelligence in accordance with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW and the key directions set out in Plan 01-KH/BCĐTW. He also proposed an approach framework for integrating AI into university teaching based on the principles of effectiveness, alignment with course requirements, and adherence to academic standards.

The core of his presentation was the introduction and hands-on guidance on “12 AI tools” associated with essential teaching and research tasks, including statistical data analysis; fast and accurate processing and analysis of large datasets; literature synthesis and research support; searching for, synthesising, and analysing relevant studies; data visualisation to create professional charts, graphs, and illustrative figures for academic publications; and developing applications that support teaching, scientific research, and university management.

In addition, the speaker systematised application directions under three pillars: (i) Teaching, to develop interactive learning platforms, smart classroom management systems, and lecturer support tools; (ii) Research, to build research project management systems, data analysis tools, and knowledge-sharing platforms; and (iii) Administration, to implement solutions for student management, finance, human resources, and automated administrative processes. He also introduced AI tools for workflow automation within the Google and Microsoft ecosystems. During the discussion and practice session, several widely used tools were also suggested, such as ChatGPT, Gamma AI, Manus, Followith, Heygen, CapCut, Coze, Vbee, NotebookLM, and Replit.

In the second session, Mr. To Manh Hoang (MA) presented practical AI use cases deployed at Datapot, focusing on Copilot models and AI agents to support data analysis, accelerate decision-making processes, and automate selected operational tasks. The presentation helped participants better envision how AI tools can be translated into real-world implementation capabilities in organisational settings.

The talk concluded with an engaging discussion, experience sharing, and Q&A on tool selection, learning activity design, and the responsible use of AI—ensuring transparency and compliance with academic integrity standards. The Faculty of Business Administration sincerely thanks the speakers and all participants, and expects the programme’s outcomes to continue spreading, contributing to innovation in teaching methods and enhancing the effectiveness of AI adoption in higher education at Foreign Trade University.
