On April 28, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University (FTU) organized a Postgraduate Admissions Talk Show in Business Administration, aiming to provide comprehensive information and direct consultation on postgraduate programs in the field.
The event welcomed distinguished guest speakers, including Dr. Kim Mạnh Tuấn – Lecturer at the Academy of Education, AI Education expert, and former PhD candidate (Cohort K24) in Business Administration; Ms. Trần Thị Huế, M.A. – Chief Operating Officer of Hacofarm Joint Stock Company and alumna of EMBA8B; and Mr. Nguyễn Huy Hoàng, M.A. – Deputy Director of the Enterprise Solutions Center, VNPT VINAPHONE, and alumnus of MBA30A.
Representing Foreign Trade University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thái Phong – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; Dr. Nguyễn Văn Cảnh – Vice Dean of the Graduate School; Dr. Nguyễn Thúy Anh – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration; and Dr. Bùi Thu Hiền – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, along with leaders of relevant units, faculty members, representatives from partner organizations and enterprises, and a large number of learners.

The talk show was organized with the objective of introducing postgraduate training programs and providing first-hand consultation, alongside experience sharing from senior managers on the theme of postgraduate education programs. The event attracted the attention of nearly 150 final-year students, as well as individuals, organizations, and enterprises seeking opportunities for further study, professional development, and high-quality human resource training.
In his opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thái Phong emphasized the critical importance of postgraduate education in the context of a rapidly evolving global economy, particularly under the strong influence of technological advancement, globalization, and geopolitical and socio-economic challenges, which increasingly raise the demands placed on organizational leaders. He affirmed that continuous learning and professional development at the postgraduate level in the new era is no longer merely an option for enhancing expertise, but a fundamental requirement for individuals to adapt, grow, and assert their position in a highly competitive global environment.
Following the opening address, Dr. Nguyễn Văn Cảnh, Vice Dean of the Graduate School, and Dr. Nguyễn Thúy Anh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration, provided an overview of the postgraduate programs offered by the Faculty, including the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Business Administration, while also sharing key admission requirements and learning experiences.
The program unfolded in an open, dynamic, and informative atmosphere, featuring presentations from representatives of Foreign Trade University and, notably, from industry-based guest speakers. These speakers shared their practical learning and professional experiences across the three postgraduate programs, MBA, EMBA, and PhD in Business Administration offered by the Faculty. All speakers emphasized that FTU’s educational philosophy, which strongly integrates academic rigor with practical applicability, serves as a critical factor in enabling learners to further unlock and maximize their personal and professional potential.
Within the framework of the event, university representatives and alumni guest speakers engaged in a direct dialogue session, addressing participants’ questions regarding the selection of suitable programs, essential competencies, and academic as well as career opportunities after graduation. This exchange represented a valuable platform for connection among the University – the Business Community – and Learners, jointly contributing to the development of a dynamic and practice-oriented postgraduate education ecosystem.
The talk show is an annual activity jointly organized by the Faculty of Business Administration and the Graduate School, with the aim of supporting career orientation, guiding learners in choosing appropriate programs, and facilitating access to admissions information for master’s and doctoral degrees. In a context where knowledge has become a key competitive resource, alongside rapid technological and AI development and growing sustainability demands, postgraduate education plays a vital role in equipping learners with critical thinking skills, adaptability, technological application capabilities, and the capacity to create sustainable value.
The event also served as a bridge connecting generations of alumni with individuals who are exploring postgraduate education opportunities.
