FTU BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION STUDENTS PROMOTE INTERNATIONAL IMAGE THROUGH THE 2026 “RED JOURNEY” ACADEMIC PROGRAM IN CHINA

From March 25 to April 1, 2026, a delegation of staff, lecturers, and students from Foreign Trade University participated in the research camp “The Light of Ideals” under the framework of the “Red Journey”, an academic and cultural exchange program for Vietnamese youth in China.

Among the participants, the Business Administration Program was proudly represented by Ms. Cao Huyen Nhung, a student of Class English 02 – Advanced Program K61, who currently serves as Vice Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union at Foreign Trade University. She was selected as one of 14 outstanding youth delegates of the University and notably one of four FTU representatives chosen to present at the International Youth Forum.

The first destination of the journey was Kunming, Yunnan Province. Here, the delegation attended a thematic session on “Ho Chi Minh in China” and visited the former residence of President Ho Chi Minh, gaining deeper insights into his revolutionary journey and the historical connections between the two nations. The delegation also explored the Southwest Associated University historical site and Guandu Ancient Town, both of which preserve significant cultural and academic heritage. A highlight of this stage was the exchange session with students from Yunnan University under the theme “Youth Working Together to Build a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind”, which fostered open dialogue and demonstrated the proactive spirit, global mindset, and sense of responsibility of FTU students in strengthening Vietnam China relations.

The journey then continued to Beijing, where the delegation visited the Forbidden City Museum, a symbol of the rich historical and cultural heritage of the East. This experience contributed to enhancing students’ understanding of cultural exchange and regional connectivity.

The final stage of the journey took place in Hebei Province, where the delegation visited several notable sites including Shijiazhuang International Port, Zhengding Ancient City, Yuanzhuang Tower Village, Yannan Baiyangdian Park, the Xiong’an Impression Exhibition Center, and the China Telecom Smart City Industrial Park. These visits provided students with valuable practical insights into smart urban development, modern logistics systems, and sustainable development strategies.

At the youth seminar on “Science and Technology Innovation and Green Development”, Ms. Cao Huyen Nhung delivered a presentation on behalf of Foreign Trade University. Her contribution reflected a strong understanding of key global trends such as ESG, green transformation, and innovation, while also highlighting the proactive role of FTU students in applying knowledge and technology to address real world economic and social challenges. This demonstrated that Business Administration students are not only confident in international settings but also capable of contributing meaningful perspectives to global discussions.

The program concluded on the evening of March 31, 2026, with a closing seminar and farewell event held in a warm and emotional atmosphere. Vietnamese and Chinese students engaged in cultural exchange activities, performances, and discussions, strengthening mutual understanding and friendship. The delegation from Foreign Trade University left a strong impression through their confidence, proactiveness, and readiness for international integration.

Although the “Red Journey” has concluded, its impact continues to resonate. It represents a lasting source of knowledge, friendship, and aspiration, empowering FTU students to contribute to a future of cooperation, peace, and sustainable development in an increasingly interconnected world.
