RECAP OF INDUSTRY VISIT TO INOX HOANG VU GROUP

On Saturday morning, March 21, 2026, students from Cohorts 62 and 63 of the Advanced Program in Business Administration, Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University, participated in an industry visit to the manufacturing plant of Inox Hoang Vu Group as part of the course Principles of Management and Operations.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for students to bridge theoretical knowledge with real world operational practices. At the factory, students were introduced to the company’s development history, operational scale, and strategic direction within the stainless steel manufacturing industry, a sector that plays a significant role across various industrial and daily applications.

A highlight of the visit was the direct observation of the production line. Students gained first hand insights into the entire manufacturing process, from raw material handling and rolling to cutting, processing, and final product completion. This experience enabled students to better understand key concepts such as process design, capacity planning, and quality control within a real production environment.

In addition, company representatives shared practical insights into operational management challenges, including cost optimization, product quality assurance, supply chain management, and the application of technology in manufacturing processes. The interactive discussion session encouraged active engagement, with students raising practical questions that reflected their curiosity and learning motivation.

The visit concluded with meaningful learning outcomes and memorable experiences. It not only enhanced students’ understanding of course concepts but also provided valuable exposure to professional working environments, contributing to better career preparation in the future.
