On May 13, 2026, in celebration of Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Day (May 18), Foreign Trade University solemnly organized the Celebration of Vietnam Science, Technology and Innovation Day and the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Book and Reading Culture Day. The program was conducted in a hybrid format, connecting the Hanoi main campus with the Ho Chi Minh City campus of Foreign Trade University.

The event was attended by the University’s leadership board, members of the Party Committee, heads of departments and units, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City campus and Quang Ninh campus, along with a large number of lecturers, staff members, students, graduate students, and doctoral candidates.

During the ceremony, the University honored and awarded outstanding collectives and individuals for their achievements in science and technology activities, scientific research, academic publications, and innovation during the 2024–2025 academic year. The awards were presented across various categories, comprehensively reflecting the efforts of faculties, lecturers, and students in enhancing research quality, increasing scientific publications, and promoting a spirit of innovation throughout the University.

Within the framework of the program, Foreign Trade University also officially launched the 2026 Book and Reading Culture Day and introduced the competition “Dreams on the Bookshelf,” contributing to the promotion of lifelong learning, encouraging reading habits and academic research, and fostering an academic culture within the University community.

These activities carry significant meaning in building an intellectual, innovative, and humanistic university environment, where lecturers, learners, and staff members are continuously inspired to learn, innovate, and grow.
