On June 2, 2026, students enrolled in the Ecommerce TMAE306 course, instructed by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, had the opportunity to participate in a special session with Mr. To Ton Thanh from Odoo Education Program in Vietnam. The session introduced students to the Odoo solution and demonstrated how enterprise management systems are applied in real business environments.
The session provided students with practical insights into Odoo, an all-in-one business management platform that integrates various modules, including Website Builder, eCommerce, Sales, Inventory, CRM, Accounting, and Marketing. Through real-world examples and demonstrations, students gained a better understanding of how modern businesses build online stores, manage orders, track inventory, maintain customer relationships, and connect data across a unified system.
Beyond exploring the software itself, the session highlighted that e-commerce is not limited to online selling. Instead, it is closely connected to the entire operational process behind a business. From customer management and order fulfillment to accounting and marketing activities, these functions must work together effectively to ensure smooth operations in today’s digital environment.
In addition, students were introduced to the Odoo Education Program and its learning resources, including the Odoo Education Database, online learning platforms, and the Scale Up business simulation game. These tools help bridge the gap between classroom knowledge and real-world business practices, enabling students to gain a more practical understanding of enterprise operations.
