On September 21, 2026, a delegation from the School of Business, Foreign Trade University (FTU) visited and held a working session at the headquarters of Printway Joint Stock Company, a company operating in cross-border e-commerce through the Print-on-Demand (POD) business model.
The visit provided an opportunity for representatives of FTU to gain practical insights into the company’s operations in cross-border e-commerce while discussing potential areas of collaboration to strengthen the connection between academic education and professional practice.

Strengthening the Connection Between Education and E-Commerce Practice
During the visit, the FTU delegation explored Printway’s product lines and operational processes, gaining practical insights into the cross-border e-commerce and Print-on-Demand business models.
Building on the discussions, FTU School of Business and Printway identified several potential areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening practical learning, developing students’ professional competencies, and expanding students’ access to industry experience.
The proposed areas of collaboration include:
1. Integrating practical experience into academic programs
Printway will collaborate with the SBI Program in selected courses, including Professional Skills & International Career Orientation (SBI1), Global Website & Online Store Management (SBI2), and Smart Business & Digital Business Innovation (SBI4), as well as Digital Marketing courses through guest lectures, thematic seminars, and industry-sharing sessions.
2. Supporting student projects and professional mentoring
Printway is expected to contribute as a professional mentor, providing SBI students with opportunities to explore product development processes, experiment with innovative ideas, and gain practical insights into international markets.
3. Professional sponsorship and student development
Printway will officially collaborate as a professional sponsor of ECOM – FTU, supporting academic and professional activities as well as initiatives designed to provide students with opportunities to explore the field of e-commerce.
4. Expanding internship and employment opportunities
The two parties aim to facilitate opportunities for SBI and FTU students to visit the company, gain exposure to a professional working environment, participate in mid-program and final internships, and explore career opportunities at Printway.
5. Developing professional training and certification programs
FTU School of Business and Printway will explore opportunities to jointly develop supplementary courses and training programs, with the long-term goal of developing practical professional certification content aligned with the evolving needs of the e-commerce industry.
Toward Stronger University–Industry Collaboration
The working session between FTU School of Business and Printway represents a further step toward strengthening collaboration between higher education and industry, particularly in the fields of cross-border e-commerce and digital business.
Through these collaborative activities, students will have opportunities to gain practical knowledge and industry insights, strengthen their professional competencies, and become better prepared for the demands of domestic and international digital business environments.
