Motivated by the aim of helping incoming K65 students gain a deeper understanding of the i-Hons Advanced Program Student Network (i-Hons Network), while also creating opportunities for them to become acquainted, interact, and connect with one another, the First Meeting was held on September 20th, 2026, in Room A704 at Foreign Trade University, and concluded successfully with a series of lively and memorable activities.
The gathering opened with melodious piano tunes and a heartfelt singing performance, serving as a warm greeting to the new faces in attendance. From this intimate and welcoming atmosphere, the story of the Student Network gradually unfolded through a detailed introduction to its mission, vision, and core values, as well as its organizational structure and operations through five specialized departments. Through this introduction, what had initially seemed new and unfamiliar about the Network gradually became more approachable and easier for the incoming students to envision.
Following the introductory segments, the atmosphere of the gathering grew noticeably more energetic and spirited, with a series of games and team-bonding activities. The interactive segments, seamless coordination, and enthusiastic cheering not only brought abundant laughter, but also helped replace the initial shyness and hesitation with more natural, open conversations among the K65 students. After just a few hours together, the distance between faces that had been largely unfamiliar at the start of the session appeared to have narrowed considerably.
From a first greeting at the First Meeting, the connections formed on that day are expected to be nurtured and further developed by K65, as they go on to create many memorable milestones and stories together in the journey ahead, accompanied by the i-Hons Student Network.
