With the aim of enhancing the practicality of the subject “Applied Statistics for Executive Managers”, on May 6, 2023, the Faculty of Business Management invited Dr. Tang Van Khanh, General Director of OCD Management Consulting Company; Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors of OOC Technology Solutions Company came to share with EMBA class 8B on the topic “Application of KPIs in Business management”.
With more than 20 years of experience in advising businesses on building KPI systems, directly designing digiiTeamW KPI software used by many large enterprises, Dr. Tang Van Khanh pointed out the significance of building KPIs in business management. In particular, Mr. Khanh emphasized the significance of statistical methods in the formulation and selection of indicators as well as setting weights for indicators, statistical data required to evaluate the results of the implementation of the indicators and methods of collecting such data to serve the calculation of results. As a former student majoring in Statistics, Mr. Khanh shared more about the importance of data in corporate governance.
Students of EMBA 8B class had a very lively discussion with the expert and raised many questions related to KPI development at their businesses as well as drawing experiences for the implementation process.
