ALUMNI OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION ADVANCED PROGRAM THRIVE IN THE GLOBAL ARENA

A recent survey of 124 alumni from the International Business Administration Advanced Program at the Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University, highlights the remarkable academic and professional achievements of the program’s graduates.

According to the survey, 30 alumni are currently living and working in countries and regions around the world, including the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Singapore, Japan, Australia, and the United States. In addition, 66 out of 124 alumni have pursued or are currently pursuing postgraduate studies at leading universities worldwide, including Stanford University, Harvard University, Purdue University, the University of Manchester, Northwestern University, BI Norwegian Business School, Edinburgh Business School, the University of New South Wales, Lund University, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, the University of Leeds, and the University of Bath.

Graduates of the program have established careers across a wide range of industries, including strategy consulting, investment and finance, product management, data analytics, biotechnology, diplomacy, and international communications, serving at leading organizations around the world.

Among the program’s distinguished alumni are Tran Mai Anh (Class of K49), Vice President and Head of Nordics at Telenor (Norway); Nguyen Bao Tuan (K50), Project Manager at Asilla Inc. (Japan); Le Huy Hoang (K51), Associate at Green Giraffe (France); Bui Thien Huong (K53), Global Product Manager at Versuni/Philips (the Netherlands); Le Tuan Trung (K53), Investor at Warburg Pincus Singapore; Dang Quang Huy (K51), Statistician at Moderna (United States); Pham Linh (K53) and Dung Nguyen (K59), Consultants at Boston Consulting Group in the United States and Singapore, respectively; Nguyen Phuong Nga (K51), Product Manager at Impact Cube (United Kingdom); Tran Bao Anh (K54), Tax Senior at Wright Ford Young & Co. (United States); Nguyen Ha Ngan (K54), Business Data Analyst at Atos Medical AB (Sweden); and Nguyen Huong Tra (K53), Campaign Manager at the British Embassy, where she has contributed to high-level diplomatic initiatives, including the UK Deputy Prime Minister’s visit to Vietnam and activities supporting the UK–Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

In addition to their success in international markets, many alumni hold key positions at leading multinational corporations and regional enterprises, including Procter & Gamble (P&G), L’Oréal, Nestlé, and Deloitte Southeast Asia. Numerous other graduates serve as specialists, managers, and senior executives across a wide range of organizations in Vietnam and abroad.

The program has also fostered a strong entrepreneurial spirit among its graduates. Notable alumni include Pham Minh Quang (K51), Founder and CEO of Tomorrow Marketers; Luu Tuan Thanh (K54), Founder of AnalytIQ Solutions LLC in the United States; Le Thi To Nhu (K52), Founder of “Lang va Cham,” a mental health initiative supporting Vietnamese women; and Nguyen Thanh Nhan (K57), Member of the Board of Members of Citrus Media Vietnam. Many other alumni have gone on to establish their own businesses or lead family-owned enterprises.

Academically, alumni continue to pursue excellence through postgraduate education and international scholarships. Bui Phu Khang (K59) was awarded a fully funded PhD scholarship at Purdue University. Dang Thu Trang (K50) received the prestigious Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. Ta Ngoc Anh (K54), after four years as a top-performing consultant at Boston Consulting Group, was admitted to Stanford University. Nguyen Thuy Trinh (K54) is currently pursuing doctoral studies at the University of New South Wales, while Dang Vu Duy Hung (K56) is a doctoral researcher at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University. Dang Ngoc Huyen (K57) serves as a Research Coordinator at the University of Melbourne. Many other alumni have also earned master’s and doctoral scholarships at highly ranked universities worldwide.

These accomplishments reflect the program’s commitment to delivering an internationally oriented learning environment. The curriculum is taught almost entirely in English and is transferred from the College of Business and Economics, California State University, Fullerton (United States), an AACSB-accredited institution recognized among the leading business schools in the United States. Each cohort benefits from instruction by international professors, engagement with industry experts, and extensive collaboration with leading corporations and organizations in Vietnam and abroad.

Students of the International Business Administration Advanced Program have also achieved outstanding results in academic competitions and scientific research. They consistently account for a significant proportion of research awards at the faculty, university, and ministerial levels, while also producing the highest number of international research publications in collaboration with faculty members within the Faculty of Business Administration.

Notable achievements include Champion of ESG Challenge 2025, Champion of I-Invest 2026, Champion of the Social Business Creation Competition in Canada, and First Prize in the Ministerial-Level Scientific Research Competition. Furthermore, 45% of the program’s graduates earned Excellent Honors upon graduation.

These achievements underscore the quality of the International Business Administration Advanced Program and demonstrate the global competitiveness, adaptability, and professional capabilities of its students and alumni. They also reflect the Faculty of Business Administration’s commitment to preparing graduates who are ready to excel in an increasingly interconnected and dynamic global environment.
