On May 13, 2024, the Faculty of Business Administration held the Awarding Ceremony of the Student Scientific Research Contest for the 2023-2024 school year to honor the best groups and the instructors who have been accompanying the group recently. After launching the contest, the Faculty of Business Administration received a lot of attention and attracted a large number of participation from students from the Advanced program, High quality program, standard program of the Faculty of Business Administration and even Students coming from other specialized faculties inside and outside the school.
Attending the Awarding Ceremony of the Student Scientific Research Contest of the Faculty of Business Administration were Associate Professor, PhD. Le Thi Thu Thuy – Chairwoman of the School Council, Associate Professor, PhD. Vu Hoang Nam – Head of Scientific Management Department, Associate Professor, PhD. Le Thai Phong – Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, PhD. Nguyen Thuy Anh – Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business Administration, PhD. Bui Thu Hien – Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration along with instructors, lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration, and winning student groups.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Associate Professor, PhD. Le Thi Thu Thuy emphasized that one of the five strategic development goals of Foreign Trade University for the period 2021 – 2030 and vision to 2040 is to become a prestigious center for research and knowledge transfer in economics and business in Vietnam and the Asian region, becoming a typical example of the country’s innovation and startup ecosystem. To move towards realizing that goal, the School has also devoted a lot of attention to developing research activities for students with the competition. In particular, the school also recognized the interests and contributions of the Faculty of Business Administration in scientific student competitions and in promoting the scientific student movement. In 2023, the Faculty of Business Administration excellently won one first prize and two second prizes at the Ministry level along with 5 first prizes at the School level. With the 2024 Scientific Research Competition, we also place great trust in the students and lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration with 12 excellent research projects winning department-level awards.
At this year’s competition, the Faculty of Business Administration received a lot of attention from student groups participating in the Preliminary Round with up to 39 research projects. With the continuous efforts of students and instructors, there have been many quality scientific research projects submitted to the competition. Among them, the Faculty of Business Administration selected 12 best groups to win awards.
The group of students who won first prize in this year’s competition included Pham Tuan Kien, Nguyen Vu Ha Thanh, Ha Gia Linh, Nguyen Le Tuan and Phung Duc Anh from K59 CTTTTQT with the guidance of Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Hong.
The two groups that won the Second Prize include Group 1 including Pham Thi Ha, Vi Thanh Tuan, Nguyen Truc Mai, Le Thi Thuy Trang, Nguyen Hoai Nam from K60, K61 Business Administration, KTDN and University of Commerce and HD teacher Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan. The group that won the second prize included Hoang Minh Hieu, Phung Phuong Thao, Pham Thuy Linh, Ngo Thi Thu Que and Phan Minh Tam from K61 International Program and instructor Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Hong.
Four groups won the third prize including Group 1 including Doan Khanh Linh, Nguyen Hoang Ha, Phung Thu Giang and Nguyen Duc Dat from K60 CTTT and CLCQTKD with Master Teacher. Vu Thi Huong Giang. The second group includes friends Tran Tuan Hiep, Nguyen Hong Ngoc, Nguyen Trong Kien, Nguyen Khanh Linh from K60, CLCQTKD and International Economics, and teacher of education Dr. Hoang Thi Thuy Duong. The third group includes Ngo Phuong Linh, Nguyen Danh Uy, Truong Cam Tu, Nguyen Phuoc Anh from International Program K61 and HD teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Hong. Group 4 includes Ha Phuong Thao, Vu Khanh Linh, Nguyen Le Hanh Ngan from K59 International Program and instructor Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Hong.
Five groups won Consolation prizes including Group 1 including Nguyen Quynh Giang, Phung Mai Huong, Nguyen Khanh Linh, Cao Phuong Uyen from K61 CLC KDQT with instructor Dr. Do Huong Giang. The second group includes Hoang Van Trang, Nguyen Anh Thu, Pham Duc Hung, Tran Dieu Linh, Ta Vu Anh Thu from K60, K61 CLCQTKD, International Economics and Faculty of International Education and instructor Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang. The third group includes Phan Thi Diem Quynh, Nguyen Thi Hong Nhung, Le Nguyen Khanh Vy, Nguyen Hoai Ngan from K60 of the Faculty of Business Administration and the instructor MSc. Vu Thi Huong Giang. The 4th group includes Nguyen Dieu Linh, Nguyen Thi Nga Anh, Nguyen Phuong Anh from K60 International Program and International Training Department and instructor Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh. The 5th group includes Phung Thi Hong Nhung, Nguyen Phuong Thuy Linh, Tran Thi Hang, Tran Thi Thu Huong, Nguyen Thi Anh Tuyet from K60 QTKD and KTDN and the instructor MSc. Vu Thi Huong Giang.
Besides, Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Hoang Nam – Head of the Department of Scientific Management has a few words of encouragement, sharing with you about the difficulties and challenges on the scientific research journey and hopes that you will maintain the spirit of learning, future research.
Before ending the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thai Phong – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration had some advice to the students participating in this year’s competition. Associate Professor, Dr. Le Thai Phong sent congratulations and pride to all groups and hoped that they would reap excellent achievements in the coming rounds.
The Faculty of Business Administration hopes that the competition will train students to gain more knowledge, experience in studying and working in groups in scientific research and prepare for research projects, internships or good reports. career in the future.
