BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION AT FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY: THREE ACADEMIC PROGRAMS, ONE SHARED MISSION OF DEVELOPING FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS

To meet the growing demand for high-quality human resources in the era of global integration and digital transformation, the Business Administration major at the Faculty of Business Administration, Foreign Trade University, offers three academic programs: the Standard Program, the Advanced Program, and the High-Quality Program. While each program has its own distinctive orientation, all share the common goal of preparing future business leaders and managers with an innovative mindset, global competencies, and the adaptability required in today’s dynamic business environment.

All three programs are built upon three core pillars: modern management competencies, innovation capabilities, and digital competencies, providing students with a comprehensive foundation for success in an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

The Standard Program is designed to equip students with a comprehensive foundation in business administration, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical application. The curriculum fosters modern managerial thinking and prepares graduates to meet the evolving needs of organizations in both domestic and international markets.

The Advanced Program is developed based on the curriculum transferred from California State University, Fullerton (United States). With a strong international orientation, the program emphasizes global perspectives, cross-cultural collaboration, experiential learning, and the ability to adapt to digital transformation and the rapidly changing global business landscape.

The High-Quality Program is the first English-medium business administration program offered at Foreign Trade University. It provides an intensive learning experience with a strong focus on industry engagement while cultivating professional skills, leadership capabilities, innovative thinking, and problem-solving competencies to address contemporary business challenges in the digital era.

Beyond an up-to-date curriculum, students across all three programs have opportunities to engage in real-world business projects, case-based learning, interactions with industry professionals, and extensive professional networking throughout their university journey. These experiences provide a solid foundation for personal and professional development while preparing graduates to thrive in both domestic and international labor markets.

Further information on the academic orientation, distinctive features, and career opportunities of each program will be introduced in the Faculty of Business Administration’s upcoming admissions communications.
