FOREIGN TRADE UNIVERSITY LEADERSHIP MEETS WITH THE SWISS EDUCATION GROUP (SEG) AND CÉSAR RITZ COLLEGES IN SWITZERLAND

On the afternoon of 14/10/2025, Foreign Trade University (FTU) held a meeting and cooperation discussion with representatives of the Swiss Education Group (SEG). SEG is one of the world’s leading education systems in Hospitality, Tourism Management, and Culinary Arts, comprising prestigious institutions such as César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland, Hotel Institute Montreux, and Swiss Hotel Management School.

Representing SEG were Mr. Claudio Raccanello – Executive Director, Enrolment & Student Affairs, and Ms. Tamara Cudre-Mauroux – Partnerships and Development Manager.

From Foreign Trade University, participants included Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vũ Thị Hiền – Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Đinh Kiên – Director of the Office of International Cooperation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lê Thái Phong – Dean of the School of Business Administration; Dr. Nguyễn Thúy Anh and Dr. Bùi Thu Hiền – Vice Deans of the School of Business Administration; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Thị Khánh Chi – Head of the Department of Hotel Management, along with faculty members from the Hotel Management Division.

During the meeting, representatives of both sides discussed potential expansion of cooperation in various areas, including: a pathway master’s program at César Ritz Colleges Switzerland for FTU students majoring in Hotel Management; research collaboration and academic exchange between faculty members; and the development of student exchange programs, international internships, and short-term study programs in Switzerland. Both parties also expressed their intention to strengthen thematic seminars and collaborative training activities, aiming to advance the internationalization of FTU’s Hotel Management curriculum.

FTU representatives expressed high appreciation for the active cooperation and support from SEG, affirming that this meeting marks an important step forward in reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two sides.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both SEG and FTU expressed optimism regarding future opportunities for development, particularly in student and faculty exchange as well as upcoming academic collaboration initiatives.
