LOOKING BACK AT THE 4 YEAR JOURNEY OF HIGH QUALITY PROGRAM IN HOSPITALITY K59 STUDENTS – FULL OF ENJOYABLE AND SUCCESSFUL EXPERIENCES (2021- 2024)

Four years of study and training for K59 High Quality Program in Hospitality students at the Faculty of Business Administration – Foreign Trade University (2021-2024) is a memorable and proud journey. Let’s look back together at the memories and successes that K59 High Quality Program in Hospitality members have achieved in the past journey!


K59 High Quality Program in Hospitality has experienced 3 internships at 4-5 star hotels/resorts across the country with a total internship period of 12 months. Although it will be a few months before they officially graduate, currently, 32 students have been accepted as official employees at 15 4-5 star international hotels such as: Capella Hanoi, InterContinental Hanoi Westlake, JW Marriott Hanoi, InterContinental Hanoi Landmark72, Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, Grand Mercure Hanoi, Lotte Hanoi, Pan Pacific Hanoi, Pullman Hanoi, Grand Tourane Da Nang, … In addition, some of them are holding positions such as Customer Services, Sales & Marketing, etc. .. at businesses outside the industry. The employment rate right after graduation is 100%.

36 students of K59 High Quality Program in Hospitality successfully completed the hotel professional practice modules including: Customer Service Management, Reception Management, Housekeeping Management, Restaurant and Bar Management. 100% of students have been granted the international professional certificate CTH by the British Federation of Tourism and Hotels. CTH certificate is a prestigious international professional certification, widely recognized by employers in 150 countries around the world. For students in the fields of tourism, culinary and hospitality, CTH is like a professional “passport”, allowing you to confidently apply to 5-star restaurants and hotels worldwide.

In June 2024, student K59 of the High Quality Program in Hospitality proposed 36 creative ideas to improve the activities of the hotel’s operations and functions during the Graduation Thesis Defense before the Council. including experts from leading hotel groups and teachers from the Faculty of Business Administration. Creative projects are an innovative feature of students in the High Quality Program in Hospitality, giving students the opportunity to observe limitations in business from an academic perspective and propose practical solutions. A number of innovative projects have left many impressions on experts and board members such as proposing a new drink menu for restaurants, applying international payment solutions to optimize revenue, and applying integrated combines operational management software, carbon footprint measurement tools, and solutions for sustainable development in hotels

K59 High Quality Program in Hospitality students not only excelled in their academic and professional activities, they also won many high awards in domestic and foreign competitions such as: National Champion of the We are Hoteliers 2023 Competition, Prize First prize in the global competition on Social Business Creation 2023 (Social Business Creation – SBC 2023) held in Canada, First prize in the Circular Economy Hackathon organized by FIIS FTU and Youth+, Business-Market Potential Award at the Climate Launchpad 2022 green startup competition, Top 20 Business Ideas that create the best social impact globally at the Social Business Creation 2022 competition, Scientific research awards at the department level, school level, etc.

Organized and implemented a number of modules to invite foreign lecturers such as Mr. Thaddeus Hostetler Allen to participate in teaching the entire module of Business Psychology, etc. Many invited speakers who were experts and leaders of the leading hotel groups in the world participated in sharing the lesson.
