On 05 December 2025, the CTH International Professional Certificate Awarding Ceremony for K62 High-Quality Hotel Management students was successfully held in a formal and emotional atmosphere. The ceremony welcomed representatives from partner hotels, CHM International Academy, University leadership, parents, lecturers from the Faculty of Business Administration, and all students of the K62 High-Quality Hotel Management class.

The event was honoured to welcome representatives from partner hotels, including Ms. Pham Minh Khanh – Assistant Director of Food and Beverage – Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi; Ms. Le Thuy Duong – Area Learning & Development Manager – Intercontinental Hanoi Westlake; and Ms. Ngo Minh Ngoc – Director of Marketing – Intercontinental Halong Bay Resort. From CHM International Academy, the ceremony was attended by Ms. Vu Thi Thao – Director of CHM Academy, and Ms. Hoang Tuyet Mai – Deputy Director of CHM Academy.

Representing Foreign Trade University were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy – Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Member of the University Council; Mr. Pham Thanh Ha (MA) – Deputy Head in charge, Academic Affairs Office; Dr. Bui Duy Linh – Deputy Head, Office of Communications and External Relations; Dr. Hoang Ngoc Thuan – Head in charge of Advanced Programs and High-Quality Programs, Academic Affairs Office; along with the Faculty of Business Administration leadership and lecturers: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong – Dean; Dr. Bui Thu Hien – Vice Dean; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Khanh Chi – Head of the Hotel Management Division; and lecturers who have closely accompanied the students throughout the programme.

The CTH International Professional Certificate is awarded by the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (UK), a reputable organisation recognised in more than 150 countries. The certificate serves as an important validation of professional competence for Hotel Management students and provides a strong foundation for their confidence in future study and career pathways.

Following the opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thi Thu Thuy, the ceremony began with sharing from Ms. Vu Thi Thao, who noted students’ clear progress in professional conduct, technical skills, and especially their attitude toward the profession after a period of continuous effort. From CTH (United Kingdom), Mr. Steve Beckworth – Marketing Director – sent his congratulations to the students on their learning and practical training journey at CHM. The programme then continued with a recap video produced by the K62 students themselves, capturing their journey from the first unfamiliar lessons to challenging practical sessions, vividly portraying their growth. Many students and parents were moved when revisiting the perseverance and dedication demonstrated throughout the programme.

At the event, student representative Ly Minh Cuong expressed gratitude to FTU and CHM lecturers and to families who had consistently trusted, encouraged, and supported the students to complete the programme. He shared memorable experiences such as repeatedly practising operational tasks like bed setup and room cleaning until mastery; the strict requirements helped students understand professionalism, meticulousness, attentiveness, and the “hospitality spirit” at the core of the industry.

A parent representative also delivered heartfelt remarks. Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet shared her joy in witnessing students’ growth in mindset, attitude, and professional manner, and acknowledged the role of skills-based training and the professional learning environment at FTU and CHM in shaping that development.

The ceremony concluded in a warm atmosphere, marking a meaningful milestone not only for the students but also for parents and lecturers. Each certificate awarded stands as recognition of the K62 High-Quality Hotel Management students’ effort, perseverance, and passion. Congratulations to the K62 students on officially obtaining their first “professional passport” in the hospitality sector. It is hoped that this achievement will serve as valuable preparation for them to confidently embark on new journeys ahead.
