[RECAP] HOSPITALITY UNVEILED – DUSIT TOUR & TABLE ETIQUETTE WORKSHOP

On the afternoon of July 7, 2026, prospective K65 students interested in the International Hospitality Management Program participated in the HOSPITALITY UNVEILED – DUSIT TOUR & TABLE ETIQUETTE WORKSHOPat Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi. The workshop was led by Ms. Dang Trieu Dieu Linh, Human Resources Manager, and Mr. Luu Minh Hoang, Assistant Banquet Manager.

The workshop provided participants with the opportunity to experience the professional working environment of a five-star hotel, meet faculty members, and engage with hospitality professionals. Through a series of experiential activities, participants gained valuable insights into the Hospitality Management industry, allowing them to better understand the profession and evaluate their own interests and career aspirations.

The program commenced with opening remarks by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong, Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration. In his address, he introduced the educational orientation of the Hospitality Management program, emphasizing its commitment to developing high-quality human resources equipped with a solid academic foundation, internationally aligned professional competencies, and extensive opportunities for practical learning throughout their four-year university journey.

During the introductory session, Ms. Dang Trieu Dieu Linh presented an overview of Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi, highlighting the hotel’s unique identity and the story behind its name, which is inspired by Princess Tu Hoa. Drawing from her own professional experience, she also shared practical insights into career development within the hospitality industry, offering valuable guidance to students exploring the field.

One of the highlights of the event was the Table Etiquette Workshop. Under the guidance of Mr. Luu Minh Hoang, participants learned the procedures for setting up a fine dining table according to international five-star hospitality standards. In addition to observing professional demonstrations, participants took part in a hands-on team challenge, applying their attention to detail, teamwork, and practical skills to complete a formal table setup.

The program continued with a Hotel Tour, during which participants explored the hotel’s restaurants, guest rooms, and conference and event facilities. The tour provided a comprehensive overview of the operational model of an international luxury hotel while offering a deeper understanding of the service culture, operational standards, and hospitality philosophy of Dusit Le Palais Tu Hoa Hanoi.

Through the HOSPITALITY UNVEILED – DUSIT TOUR & TABLE ETIQUETTE WORKSHOP, participants gained not only practical knowledge of the Hospitality Management profession but also valuable exposure to the learning environment and career opportunities within the industry. The workshop reflects the Faculty of Business Administration’s commitment to strengthening collaboration between academia and industry while supporting prospective students in making informed decisions about their future academic and professional paths.
