STUDENTS OF THE HIGH QUALITY PROGRAM IN HOSPITALITY OF FTU UNIVERSITY HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE 3 DEGREES WHEN TRANSFERING TO THE SWISS BHMS SCHOOL
On March 9, 2022, Foreign Trade University and BHMS School, Switzerland successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the cooperation and student exchange program of the High Quality Program of Hospitality which is under the management of the Faculty of Business Administration. The two parties (FTU and BHMS) agreed to carry out activities to exchange students, lecturers, exchange information on learning materials and scientific research… in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Students of the High Quality Program of Hospitality, after completing a minimum of 105 credits, corresponding to 3 years of study at FTU, have the opportunity to transfer to BHMS Switzerland, and can choose to study in one of two programs: Training is Hotel and Hospitality Management or Global Business Management with 15% tuition support. In particular, after completing the program, students will have the opportunity to receive 3 degrees including a degree from Foreign Trade University, a degree from BHMS School and Robert Gordon University UK (a recognized partner of BHMS School). The agreement also clearly states that students of the High Quality Program of Hospitality Transfer Program will only receive a diploma at BHMS and Robert Gordon UK if and only if they satisfy the graduation requirements at FTU. While studying at BHMS School, Switzerland, students are given the opportunity to do a 6-month paid internship in Switzerland or abroad. To transfer, students need a minimum IELTS certificate of 6.0 and internship experience in the industry.
In addition, students who have graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Business Administration from FTU can be directly admitted to the master’s degree program in International Hotel Management or Global Business Administration at BHMS, Switzerland and can also receive two degrees from BHMS and Robert Gordon University UK.
The attractive point of the program is that BHMS builds a scholarship fund for excellent FTU students who choose to transfer to BHMS with a 50% scholarship.
The cooperation opens up many opportunities for High Quality Program of Hospitality students to be trained in an international, professional environment, improving their professional capacity in the Hotel industry. In addition, the cooperation contributes to improving the quality and expertise of the teaching staff of FTU, affirming the position of the University.
