On October 14th, 2026, the UNITOUR 2026 journey, themed “Beyond Digital Limits – Shaping the Future,” was successfully held at Hall D201, Foreign Trade University. The program created an effective space for connecting knowledge, technology, and practical stories about e-commerce, thereby opening up fresh perspectives on development opportunities for students in the digital era.
On behalf of Foreign Trade University, the program was honored to welcome Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Minh Hang – Vice President of Foreign Trade University; Associate Professor Dr. Le Thai Phong – President of Foreign Trade University – College of Business; Dr. Bui Lien Ha – Head of the Department of Political Affairs and Student Services; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan – Program Coordinator of E-commerce, Foreign Trade University; and Dr. Nguyen Thi Hong Van – Lecturer of the Smart Digital Commerce and Business Innovation (SBI) Program.
On behalf of the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), the program was honored by the attendance of Dr. Bui Trung Kien – Vice President of the Association. The Association’s partnership has helped strengthen the links between the University, professional organizations, and the business community, thereby bringing practical market knowledge closer to students.
Accompanying Foreign Trade University students at the program were experienced speakers, including Mr. Le The Trung – Sales Manager, SKULD Vietnam; Ms. Tran Quynh Ngan – Representative of the Vietnam Internet Network Information Center (VNNIC) under the Ministry of Science and Technology; Mr. Van Chinh – CEO and Founder of ECOM ACADEMY GROUP; and Ms. Phan Chau Anh – Project Manager at Tuki Uni Company Limited. Their presentations offered multidimensional perspectives on market development trends, business operations on digital platforms, and the career opportunities steadily opening up in the e-commerce sector.
Beyond updating professional knowledge, UNITOUR 2026 enabled students to engage directly with real-world market issues and gain a clearer understanding of enterprise requirements and the competencies essential in the digital business environment. Through the sharing and exchange of ideas, the program helped foster a proactive spirit of learning, innovative thinking, and preparedness among students to adapt to the relentless evolution of technology.
The partnership of the Vietnam E-commerce Association, experts, and enterprises has helped reinforce the link between education and practice, while also opening up opportunities for exchange and networking for Foreign Trade University students. Notably, in the 2026-2027 academic year, the University successfully recruited students for the internationally career-oriented program in Smart Digital Commerce and Business Innovation. The program also provided an occasion for classroom knowledge to be situated within real-world contexts, giving students a stronger foundation to shape their direction and develop their professional capabilities.
With the value it delivered, UNITOUR 2026 at Foreign Trade University was not only an occasion for students to update themselves on emerging trends of the digital era, but also an opportunity to broaden their perspectives, explore their potential, and proactively seize the opportunities ahead, with these first steps serving as the foundation for the journey of shaping the future.
