In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Foreign Trade University, the Business Administration Faculty hosted a vibrant and celebratory Connection Day, gathering esteemed corporate partners alongside numerous alumni and current students. This special event aimed to foster lasting networks among students, alumni, and the department’s business partners.
The event commenced with lively performances and insightful opening remarks from the university and faculty leaders, emphasizing the critical importance of collaboration between academia and the business community in supporting sustained growth.
A highlight of the program was the panel discussion, “Sharing Visions – Co-Creating the Future,” featuring distinguished speakers who provided valuable and practical insights. Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Minh, Director of the Institute of Training and Business Consulting at Foreign Trade University, opened the session by analyzing the business management landscape in Vietnam. He highlighted factors shaping the domestic business environment, from market fluctuations to the transformation of Vietnamese enterprises through technology adoption and innovative management.
Following this, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Anh, Senior Director of Corporate Financial Advisory Services at PwC Vietnam, presented a strategic perspective on integrating ESG into business practices. She emphasized that ESG is not merely a trend but a crucial requirement for Vietnamese enterprises to enhance credibility and competitiveness internationally. This integration not only supports environmental and social sustainability but also aids businesses in attracting investment, meeting stringent international standards, and building resilient brand reputations.
Additionally, contributions from various participating businesses offered practical and valuable information, helping alumni and students better understand international market expectations for Vietnamese enterprises. Representatives from companies such as Capella Hanoi, FPT IS Bank, and Web3 X Investment Fund shared firsthand industry insights into the skills, knowledge, and innovative spirit that leading employers seek in Vietnam’s emerging talent.
Concluding the event, the Business Administration Faculty officially launched the FBA-BizLink project, a pioneering database platform designed to connect businesses, alumni, and students, fostering a supportive and collaborative community for sustainable growth. FBA-BizLink aims to serve as a powerful bridge, strengthening relationships between business partners and the faculty while promoting collaboration, internships, and employment opportunities for students. Beyond a database platform, BizLink embodies a mission of connection and development, aiming to establish an expansive network of partners and assisting businesses in building sustainable and effective talent strategies. Through BizLink, the faculty strives to continually increase value for both students and business partners, creating a sustainable academic and professional community that shares a vision and co-creates the future.
