On the morning of September 7, 2026, the Faculty of Business Administration at Foreign Trade University held a working session with representatives of Odoo HK Limited to discuss future collaboration, with a particular focus on integrating the Odoo ERP platform into teaching and learning activities. This initiative reflects the Faculty’s commitment to advancing digital transformation in higher education while enhancing the practical relevance of its academic programs by providing students with hands-on experience using enterprise management systems widely adopted by businesses.
Representing Odoo HK Limited was Mr. Tony To Ton Thanh, Education Program Officer in charge of the Odoo Education Program in Vietnam.
The Faculty of Business Administration was represented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong, Dean of the Faculty; Dr. Nguyen Thuy Anh and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thu Hien, Vice Deans of the Faculty, together with all faculty members.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Thai Phong expressed his appreciation for Odoo HK Limited’s support and partnership with the University. He emphasized that integrating advanced digital technologies and enterprise management platforms into the curriculum is no longer simply an educational trend but an essential requirement for equipping students with practical competencies and preparing them for the increasingly digitalized business environment.
Following the opening remarks, Mr. Tony To Ton Thanh introduced the Odoo ERP ecosystem and demonstrated how the platform can be incorporated into courses across multiple disciplines, including business management, marketing, supply chain management, human resource management, accounting, e-commerce, customer relationship management (CRM), and digital transformation.
The program also featured a professional development workshop for faculty members, offering practical training on the use of the Odoo platform. Participants explored the Odoo ecosystem and its educational resources, gained hands-on experience with the system, learned how to build educational databases for classroom use, and were introduced to key application modules as well as the Scale-Up Business Game, an interactive simulation tool designed to enhance experiential learning.
The working session concluded with a souvenir presentation and a group photo, marking an important milestone in the partnership between the Faculty of Business Administration and Odoo HK Limited. Both parties look forward to expanding their collaboration through future initiatives that promote digital transformation in education while providing students with increasingly practice-oriented learning experiences aligned with modern business management and industry needs.
