On May 13, within the framework of the FIC 1 – Entrepreneurship course, K62 Advanced Program students at Foreign Trade University had the opportunity to participate in an inspiring sharing session with Nguyen To Nga, an alumnus of the K50 Business Administration cohort and founder of the fashion brand Maiimer, together with the course lecturer, Tran Minh Thu.
The session provided students with valuable practical insights into the entrepreneurial journey within the fashion industry, a constantly evolving and highly competitive field in today’s market.
More than simply a business story, the sharing session offered a comprehensive perspective on how a fashion brand is built from the very first ideas. From market research, identifying target customers, and product development to brand building and technology application in business operations, all aspects were shared through real experiences and meaningful lessons from the speaker’s entrepreneurial journey.
In particular, Nguyen To Nga emphasized the importance of creativity and adaptability in the modern fashion industry. In a market where consumer trends are constantly changing, fashion startups compete not only through products but also through customer experience, brand storytelling, and personalization. Honest sharing about entrepreneurial challenges, business operations, and lessons learned from failures helped students gain a clearer understanding of the realities behind building and operating a fashion brand.
The session not only provided practical knowledge but also inspired students who are passionate about business and entrepreneurship. The stories, experiences, and lessons shared throughout the event helped students realize that entrepreneurship does not only begin with large capital or groundbreaking ideas, but also with perseverance, a willingness to learn, and the courage to challenge oneself.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Nguyen To Nga for taking the time to share her experiences with students. We also extend our gratitude to Tran Minh Thu for creating opportunities for students to connect with real business experiences and inspiring entrepreneurial stories.
Let’s look back at some memorable moments from the sharing session.
