AWARD CEREMONY OF THE 2026 STUDENT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH COMPETITION FACULTY OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Today, June 12, 2026, the atmosphere at the Faculty of Business Administration (FBA) became more exciting than ever with the Award Ceremony of the 2026 Student Scientific Research Competition at the Faculty level. The event was organized to honor the perseverance, innovative thinking, and academic excellence of young researchers, as well as the dedicated guidance and support of their academic supervisors.

This year’s competition proudly marked a NEW RECORD MILESTONE with 43 research projects submitted to the preliminary round – the highest number ever recorded by the Faculty of Business Administration. Building upon the remarkable achievements at the Ministry-level competition in 2025 (01 Second Prize, 02 Third Prizes, and 01 Consolation Prize), the 2026 generation has once again demonstrated that the Faculty’s passion for academic research remains stronger than ever.

At the end of the competition, the Academic Council selected 29 outstanding research teams to receive 29 prestigious awards.

TWO FIRST PRIZES

Research project: “Climate Stress, Investor Attention, and Downside Risk in Global Financial Markets” by students Ngo Thi Thu Que and Hoang Minh Hieu, under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Hong and Dr. Nguyen Tien Dat.

Research project: “Determinants of Revisit Intention in Vietnam’s Spiritual Tourism: An Integrated Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) Framework” by students Dao Thi Minh Uyen, Nguyen Minh Thu, and Nguyen Ngoc Linh, under the supervision of Dr. Do Huong Giang.

FOUR SECOND PRIZES

Research project: “Predicting Sustainable Entrepreneurial Adaptation under Climate Risk: Evidence from Cross-Country Microdata” by student Hoang Minh Hieu under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoa Hong.

Research project: “How and When Workplace Ostracism Promotes Employees’ Knowledge Hiding: Roles of Employee Silence and Forgiveness Climate” led by Vu Thi Ha Nhi under the supervision of Ms. Vu Thi Huong Giang and Mr. Ha Nguyen Anh Tuan.

Research project: “Climate Risk, Debt Strategy, and Default Risk: Empirical Evidence from an Emerging Market” led by Nguyen Pham Hoang Nam under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thu Hien.

Research project: “The Heterogeneous Effects of Multidimensional Personalization under the Filter Bubble Effect: The Moderating Role of Novelty-Seeking Tendency” led by Le Thi Hong Ha under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan.

SIX THIRD PRIZES

Research project: “Factors Driving Consumers’ Switching Behavior toward Traceable OCOP Agricultural Products in Hanoi” led by Hoang Phuong Dung under the supervision of Dr. Nguyen Hong Van.

Research project: “The Mechanism through Which Algorithmic Leadership Influences Employee Attitudes and Individual Outcomes” led by Tran Tuan Kiet under the supervision of Dr. Nguyen Thi Anh Tho.

Research project: “ESG Disclosure and Firm Financial Performance: The Role of Tax Avoidance, Executive Innovation Awareness, Competitive Advantage, and Nature of Ownership” led by Nguyen Phuong Dung under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thu Hien and Ms. Hoang Thi Khanh Ly.

Research project: “Integrating Corporate Signals and Customer Values: The Role of Customer–Company Identification in Revisit Intention in Hotels” led by Duong Duc Hiep under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Thu Hien and Ms. Nguyen Mai Anh.

Research project: “The Relationship between Employee–AI Collaboration and Work Engagement: The Moderating Role of AI Self-Efficacy and the Mediating Role of Technostressors” by Nguyen Thi Thu Ha under the supervision of Dr. Pham Thi My Dung.

Research project: “Understanding Affective Organizational Commitment in the Context of AI Awareness: The Roles of Cultural Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, and Work-Family Conflict” led by Nguyen Ngoc Ha under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan.

In addition, six Consolation Prizes reflected the depth of research thinking and practical applicability across a wide range of topics, including sustainability, AI applications in management, green commitment, and consumer behavior. The Faculty would also like to congratulate the recipients of 11 Promising Awards, representing future talents who are expected to continue excelling in upcoming University-level and Ministry-level competitions.

The Faculty of Business Administration would like to express its sincere gratitude for the presence and support of the University Board of Management, the Office of Science Management, the Faculty Board of Administration, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Duong Thi Hoai Nhung. We would especially like to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of the faculty supervisors who have inspired and guided students throughout their research journeys.

Sharing her thoughts at the ceremony, Dao Thi Minh Uyen, leader of one of the First Prize-winning teams, expressed: “The journey of scientific research not only provides knowledge but also builds the courage to overcome personal limitations.” We hope that her message, together with the closing remarks delivered by Dean Le Thai Phong, will serve as a powerful source of encouragement for all students.
