At the first graduation ceremony of 2026 at Foreign Trade University, Ms. Quach Thi Trang Nhung, a student from Cohort 61 of the International Business Administration standard program, was honored as one of 16 Outstanding Graduates of the cohort. This achievement reflects not only her academic excellence but also her continuous efforts and personal growth throughout her four year university journey.
Notably, Nhung’s journey began with early challenges. During her first year, she faced rejection when applying to a student club. However, this experience became a turning point, motivating her to take initiative, explore new opportunities, and gradually build her own development path. Instead of focusing solely on personal gains, she shifted her perspective toward contributing value to the community and organizations she was involved in.
Throughout her academic journey, Nhung took on multiple leadership roles, including class monitor of K61 English 01 Business Administration, President of the Social Business Creation Youth Community under the FTU Innovation and Incubation Space, and class leader of FPT Young Talents K25. She also actively participated in organizing and coordinating innovation and entrepreneurship programs, while serving as a communications ambassador for various major competitions and initiatives.

Alongside her extracurricular involvement, Nhung maintained an outstanding academic record with a GPA of 3.86 out of 4.0 and received academic scholarships for three semesters. She also engaged in research activities with publications at both national and international levels and achieved notable results in academic and entrepreneurship competitions. In addition, she was recognized as an Excellent Party Member for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025.
Reflecting on her journey, Nhung emphasizes the importance of perseverance and passion. For her, perseverance means committing to goals with clear planning and disciplined execution, while passion involves dedicating full effort to meaningful activities, particularly those that create value for the community. She also highlights that effective leadership begins with self management, including time management and continuous learning through experience.
After four years, Nhung believes that the question “Who am I?” is an ongoing journey without a definitive endpoint. What matters most is understanding one’s core values and staying committed to the chosen path. For her, this means creating value through people, building environments where individuals can grow, connect, and contribute positively to society.
Nhung’s journey is not only a story of achievement but also a testament to personal growth in mindset and character. It serves as an inspiration for students to take initiative, embrace challenges, and persist in discovering their own path.
