On the afternoon of December 20, 2023, the Faculty of Business Administration collaborated with the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing, KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, and Hana Nanum Foundation to organize the “KEB Hana Bank 2023 Scholarship Award Ceremony” for students of the Foreign Trade University. Attending the event from KEB Hana Bank were Mr. Cho Han Kyu – General Director of KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Tra – Deputy General Director of KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, and Ms. Nguyen Minh Ngoc – Head of HR Administration at KEB Hana Bank Hanoi. Representing the Foreign Trade University were Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong – Vice Rector of the university, Associate Professor Dr. Le Thai Phong – Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, Associate Professor Dr. Cao Dinh Kien – Head of the International Cooperation Office, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thi Hien – Head of the Training Management Office, Dr. Bui Lien Ha – Head of the Political and Student Affairs Office, Dr. Nguyen Binh Minh – Director of the Quang Ninh campus, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Mai – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing, Dr. Bui Thu Hien – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration, along with faculty members and students.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong expressed sincere gratitude to KEB Hana Bank Hanoi and the Hana Nanum Foundation for supporting students over the past 11 years. She also congratulated the 25 students who had overcome challenges and achieved outstanding academic success to receive scholarships on this day. The university highly values the continuous support from KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, which serves as significant motivation for students to overcome difficulties and succeed. On this occasion, on behalf of the Foreign Trade University, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Thu Huong presented KEB Hana Bank with a commemorative plaque marking the 11-year partnership between the university and KEB Hana Bank.

From KEB Hana Bank Hanoi, Mr. Cho Han Kyu delivered remarks and extended heartfelt thanks to the university’s leadership for dedicating valuable time to encourage and support FTU students alongside KEB Hana Bank Hanoi. The Hana Nanum Foundation, established by Hana Financial Group in 2006, has provided scholarships totaling $850,000 USD to thousands of students over 17 years. Mr. Cho Han Kyu emphasized that KEB Hana Bank is honored to collaborate with the Foreign Trade University and looks forward to further developing this partnership in the future. He expressed hope that KEB Hana Bank’s scholarships not only provide financial support but also serve as encouragement for students on their educational journey.

At the end of the ceremony, a representative of the scholarship recipients, Ms. Tran Ngoc Mai – a student from the 59th Accounting – Auditing class, reported on the encouraging achievements of the students over the past year. On behalf of the students, she deeply thanked KEB Hana Bank, as well as the Foreign Trade University, and pledged to continue striving for even higher achievements in the coming years.

The ceremony concluded successfully with the awarding of the KEB Hana Bank 2023 scholarships to 25 students from the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Accounting – Auditing. The organizers extend their congratulations to all recipients and wish them a fulfilling academic year ahead, filled with more joy and remarkable achievements!
