The Faculty of Business Administration at Foreign Trade University, established in April 1999, represents a significant milestone in the University’s evolution from a single-discipline institution to a multidisciplinary training entity within the economic university sector. Building on the University’s rich training traditions and leveraging its dynamic approach, the Faculty of Business Administration has swiftly established itself as a leader in academic training and scientific research. It has made substantial contributions to the supply of high-quality human resources essential for the nation’s economic development.

At its inception, the Faculty comprised only 11 lecturers. However, by 2024, the Faculty has expanded to include 53 academic staff members, many of whom have received education in leading countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Japan. The current academic body includes 8 Associate Professors, 28 PhDs, and 16 Master’s degree holders.

*Objectives

To train students with the knowledge and skills to address business challenges upon graduation, both in general business operations and particularly in international business.  Specifically, the Bachelor of Business Administration will be equipped with the capability to strategize, organize, execute plans, manage, evaluate, assess, and control the functional operations of a business such as strategy, human resources, finance, accounting, and operation management, … across all forms of businesses, both domestic and international.

Over 25 years of development, the Faculty of Business Administration has grown stronger and stronger, becoming a provider of high-quality and reliable human resources in the field of management. Many generations of lecturers of the Faculty of Business Administration have been dedicated to the profession, imparting knowledge and winging dreams to dear students. FBA Students have grown up, built personal careers and made positive contributions to society. During the past years, generations of teachers and students of the Faculty of Business Administration have overcome many difficulties and challenges, gradually building the Faculty to develop more and more in the field of business administration and hotel management.
