On October 17 and 19, 2023, Foreign Trade University, in collaboration with the Resource Exchange International (REI) organization from the United States, hosted two workshops for students of the CTTT (Advanced Program) and High-Quality Business Administration (CLC) cohorts of K62. The workshops, titled “Negotiating for Success” and “Dancing with the Elephant: How to do Business with the US,” were led by experts Mr. Terry McHugh and Mr. Loren Lancaster. The events were also graced by the presence of Mr. James Kang, Director of REI Vietnam, and Dr. Bùi Thu Hiền, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration.
The workshops aimed to equip students with essential entrepreneurial and innovative thinking skills necessary for navigating the rapidly changing global business landscape. Through engaging discussions, group work, and real-world case study analyses, CTTT and CLC students gained valuable insights into emerging trends, disruptive technologies, and the entrepreneurial mindset required for success. The workshops were lively, with students actively participating in discussions, gaining the knowledge needed to identify opportunities, tackle challenges, and develop innovative solutions. This prepared them to confidently grow and thrive in a global environment.
